About Me
My name is Florence and I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist.
My interest in nutrition and health/well-being sparked during lockdown in 2019 when I completed a starter course in 'Food as Medicine' with Monash University online. I was tired of feeling bloated all the time, low energy, and really unhappy in my overweight body. I had lost my sense of self and through learning about nutrition, it ignited an interest and passion in me to delve more into the field of health and to eventually help people who were in the same position as I was.
I proceeded to study and complete a Level 5 Diploma in Nutritional Therapy with The School of Health, which provided topics on naturopathic nutrition, holistic health, ayurvedic medicine and clinical training. I have completely fallen in love with learning about how to look after our body, mind, and health through nutritional therapy, and I want to help people do this also.
As a Nutritional Therapist, I am trained to breakdown the symptoms you are experiencing and identify the root cause of these issues. I aim to solve the problem, not mask it. This is the approach of looking at the person as a whole and working with them on a holistic level. Through looking at your family health history, symptoms, lifestyle, childhood health and mental wellbeing, I can offer educated recommendations aimed to create a healthier version of yourself.
By working with me, I provide my clients with the key principles of healthy living via making dietary changes to fit your nutritional needs, focusing on lifestyle alterations to reduce stress and promote relaxation, and to focus on creating a more positive outlook on yourself and life.
